Iyengar Yoga for Experienced Beginners
Intermediate Level 1
This Iyengar Yoga class refines and consolidates Yoga Basics for Beginners.
Yoga 1 introduces shoulderstand yoga poses, other inverted preparations, and basic backbends designed to help develop confidence.
Duration of the class is 1 hour 30 min
Designed for experienced beginners, Yoga 1 classes are structured to assist you to move through the class levels at your own pace. If you are an experienced beginner & attend a Yoga 1 class, you can be sure that the class is specifically designed only for that level. When you feel you need a more challenging class you can consult the teachers at Yoga Jivana or simply attend a Yoga 2 class or course.
You also have the freedom to join a Yoga 1 class when it suits you, as well as change the days you attend. And with yoga classes always running you are not bound by term/course start & finish dates.
Yoga 1 term courses require registration and pre booking as numbers are limited.

Monday 6pm, Wednesday 7.30pm (booking required-limited places), Saturday 11.15am & Sunday 8.00am

Note: Enrol in a term course if you know you’ll be able to attend each week. Open classes are the best option if your schedule changes often.
Classes start promptly so please arrive 10 minutes prior. For added security, doors are locked upon class commencement.
