yoga for teenager's classes and courses (13 to 16 years)
Tuesdays 4pm
Yoga Jivana’s teenager yoga classes are an age & content appropriate way for young people to come together & learn about yoga postures to help develop flexibility, balance & confidence in a supportive yoga environment.
The class begins with a simple chant-invocation to assist the coming together of the group & to help quieten the mind. Different asana's (yoga postures) are taught with an emphasis on discovering how to move, concentrate and breathe while having fun.
The class ends with a guided relaxation which develops personal experience with how to let go of physical & mental tension or stress.
Yoga for Teenagers course/classes run during Victoria's school terms and break during the school holidays.
Duration of the class is 1 hour 15 mins
Term dates in 2013 are as follows:
Term 1: February 5th to March 26th (8 wks - $96 or $15
per session)
Term 2: April 16th to June 18th (10 wks - $120 or $15
per session)
Term 3: July 16th to September 17th (10 wks - $120 or $15
per session)
Term 4: October 8th to December 10th (9 wks - $108 or $15
per session - NOTE: No Class November 5th due to Melbourne Cup)
Please note - The Teen’s Yoga Class will break over the summer holidays & will recommence in 2014 on: Tuesday February 4th at 4pm.
